1. Introduction
Pokebuck (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Pokebuck mobile application and the pokebuck.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
2. Information We Collect
Camera Access
Pokebuck uses your device camera solely to scan and identify trading cards. Camera images are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Collection Data
Cards you add to your collection are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit your collection data to external servers unless you explicitly opt in to cloud sync features (coming soon).
Price Data
We fetch real-time market prices from third-party sources to display card values. These requests do not include any personally identifiable information.
Analytics
We may collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g. screen views, feature usage) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information unless you explicitly provide it (e.g. by contacting support).
4. Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party services for analytics and price data. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your collection and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS data storage mechanisms. We take reasonable measures to protect data integrity but cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
Pokebuck does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
